Matthew Samsonovitch
Director of Sales & Operations
Matthew has been at Destination Logistics since September of 2010 and now assumes the role of Director of Sales and Operations for the Ocean Freight division. His attention to detail and devotion to customer service has allowed for the business to be where it is today, increasing yearly sales and customer base. Whether coordinating for the utmost competitive rates with the Steamship lines directly, or problems solving and taking a pro-active approach before situations arise, Matthews’s constant dedication to each and every one of his customers, shows in the proven successes of Destination Logistics.
When not dealing with logistical problem solving, he enjoys traveling and spending time with friends as well as watching and playing various sports. He holds an Honors degree from the University of Ottawa where he specialized in Criminology. His previous employment was in retail sales.

Oriana Nitti
Senior Logistics Coordinator Ocean
Oriana has been with Destination Logistics since its inception in November 2007, prior to joining Destination Logistics she also worked in freight forwarding handling both air and ocean exports. She has been in the freight forwarding industry for 14 years. Oriana has her certificate in CIFFA education (Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association). Her responsibilities include coordinating and arranging bookings, managing transportation documentation, customs filing, tracking of shipments as well as customer follow up, and handling final shipment releases.

Adam Drescig
Ocean Sales Account Manager
Adam Drescig’s key responsibilities at Destination Logistics are attracting and maintaining clients interested in ocean export nationwide. His main focuses are within the food industry and specialty products requiring refrigerated containers although he also caters to all other fields. His dedication and motivation has led ways to build strong business relationships with his clients. His teamwork and leadership is reflected from his passion for sports, mainly hockey. Customer service was a strong focal point in his previous employment, Adam's loyal and resourceful manner is sure to leave his clients satisfied. His hobbies include sports, outdoor activities, travelling and cooking.

Jennifer Elkin
Ocean Export Coordinator
Prior to joining Destination Logistics in July of 2015, Jennifer spent 18 years working different importers as a Traffic Manager mostly in the garment industry. Jennifer’s responsibilities include managing ocean documentation, customs filing (AES) and handling final shipment releases.

Brenda Miller
Ocean Export Coordinator
Brenda joined Destination Logistics in the summer of 2015. Her responsibilities are to coordinate Ocean freight traffic from suppliers to consignees, working closely with the steamship lines and customers to ensure a seamless transit. Brenda has been in the Transport Industry for 26 years with experience in all aspects of Ocean freight, customs and documentation. She enjoys reading, taking walks and spending quality time with her children

Sat Gosein
Director of Sales & Operations
Sat joined Destination Logistics in 2013 to reinforce our Sales & Operations department in Ground Transportation. His experience in Business Development, Logistic Operations, Warehouse & Distribution, and Supply Chain Management provide invaluable insight to our customers. His responsibilities are to manage & oversee the Ground Operations Team & grow our customer based with added value in all modes of transportation. His passions include travelling, good food and he’s an avid golfer when he’s not working!

Linda Recchilungo
Senior Logistics Coordinator Ground
Linda has been with Destination Logistics since its inception in November 2007. Linda has been in the Freight Forwarding Industry for the past 15 years in Air, Ocean and Ground Transportation. Her responsibilities are to arrange the transport of goods for multiple customers and to recommend more cost effective methods of transportation to the customers. Also is responsible in making sure that shipments are processed accordingly and shipped on time. Linda has a DEC in Business Administration and certificates in CIFFA Education.

Marc Ledoux
Ground Sales Account Manager
Marc has joined the Destination Logistics sales and operations team in January of 2015 after 20 years in customer service.A happily married father of two, Marc enjoys hockey, snowboarding and enjoys a high paced, intense work environment which the transport business can definitely provide.Marc’s responsibilities include coordinating over the road shipments anywhere in North America from rate quotations to final bookings.Marc has also joined the sales team at Destination Logistics as a business development representative with the task of growing our client base in all our over the road services.

Christina Thompson
Logistics Coordinator Ground / Customer Service
Christina has joined Destination Logistics in the fall of 2014. Christina’s responsibilities are to coordinate freight traffic from suppliers to consignees, working very closely together providing a seamless service to ensure a rapid response to any logistics, customs brokerage or transporting functions.Christina has been in the Transport Industry for 20 years with experience in managing warehouse operations, Border Crossing, ocean freight, exporting, importing, dispatching and Customer Service. With that in mind continuously seeking to develop new solutions for our Customers and Clients International trade and requirements. Keeping abreast of emerging market issues, trends and practices.
